Introduction

What is the Choice WEEKEND?
The CHOICE WEEKEND is a programme especially made for young adults age between 18-35. The weekend includes presentations and sharing sessions by singles and married couples, allowing participants to understand issues of e.g. relationships from various perspectives as well as to speak on their own thoughts about them.

WHO WE ARE
The CHOICE family is a community that supports young adults as well as married couples to know, to love and to serve one another in the paths of our daily life. Besides having these weekends, prayer meets are also held twice a month for young adults to come together and experience the warmth as a community. What's more, each prayer meet is accompanied by a sumptuous gourmet feast!

What can the CHOICE WEEKEND do for ME?
Have you ever felt lost, not knowing how to cope with all the different expectations we have of life as well as expectations of family and friends? It is at this stage of our lives where we experience most change as we begin the journey of adulthood. It is a critical time for all of us to seek direction in what we want in our lives and discover the meaning and purpose of life.
The CHOICE WEEKEND helps us to deal with all these multiple changing roles we experience and also seeks to better our daily lives especially our relationships with family and friends.


There are two parts in the CHOICE WEEKEND PROGRAMME.

FOR THE YOUTH
One caters to the youth from 18-21, these are targeted at university students who nowadays experience a tremendous amount of stress and peer pressure to excel. The Campus Choice Weekend helps youth cope with these expectations and also better their relationship with family and friends.

FOR YOUNG WORKING ADULTS
The other is the CHOICE WEEKEND which caters to working adults who have just entered the working world and also those who have been around for sometime. The Choice Weekend is a good break to focus on people again and also reminds us that life is not only about work alone but much more. A time to take a break from urgency driven activities, to recharge our batteries and consider what matters most. At the heart of love is CHOICE, the freedom to choose is also CHOICE.

In Singapore, the Weekends have been running continuously since 1981 and it has never stopped since and one question asked during the weekend is "Are you Committed to be Free?" Can you be committed and free at the same time?

The CHOICE PROGRAMME (International)
